Quick Hits!
Sensei Reeves Breaks into Prison
Sensei Reeves and Team Mega Force recently visited America's largest maximum security prison, the Louisiana State Penitentiary, for the purpose of putting on an inspirational display of strength and power. The world-class athletes and strongmen broke bricks and boards, bent steel bars, rolled up frying pans, lifted sickeningly-huge amounts of weight, and otherwise did what maniac devotees of power and insanity do when they're unleashed. Sensei Reeves and the guys did their thing in front of 2,000 inmates, and afterward spoke to the inmates on death row. Sensei Reeves is no stranger to prisons, having done several shows like this before, as well as having worked for many years as a corrections officer many years ago. Mike always relishes
the chance to ply his trade in front of an appreciative audience, and is particularly grateful when he can do so in front of a group in need of inspiration and focus.
Sensei Reeves' Missing Television Appearance
If you watched Ellen DeGeneres' highly-rated Chicago variety special, you did not see Sensei Reeves' featured breaking demonstration...but not because he wasn't there doing it; the unfortunate "technical difficulties" that too often come with live television prevented a huge television audience from witnessing Mike's routine, but the word from those who attended was that Sensei Reeves' display was a big hit. Ms. DeGeneres herself loved the exhibition, and there's talk of Sensei making an appearance on her popular daily television show.
